Dr. Santosh Wakchaure completed his MBBS in 2007 and immediately immersed himself in the rigorous world of forensic medicine at B.J. Medical College (BJMC), Pune — one of India's most respected government medical institutions. Years of working in high-stakes diagnostic environments sharpened his conviction: accurate, timely testing is not a convenience, it is a right.
Frustrated by the fragmented, inaccessible state of diagnostics in suburban Maharashtra, he channelled that conviction into entrepreneurship. On January 3, 2020, alongside Dr. Aruna Wakchaure, he co-founded Simira Unipath Diagnostics Pvt Ltd in Khanda Colony, New Panvel — a centre that would become a one-stop solution for pathology and radiology in Navi Mumbai.
Today, Simira has expanded from Panvel to Kharghar with a Central Processing Laboratory, operating 24×7 with highly trained staff. Simultaneously, Dr. Wakchaure serves as Chief Medical Officer at Fastest.Health, India's first Quick Service Diagnostics platform, proving his commitment to innovation goes far beyond a single clinic.

Performed more than 2,000 post mortems including cases of Homicide, Exhumation, Jail Deaths & Custodial Deaths. Attended court as an expert witness in complicated murder cases.
Resident Pathologist (MD Pathology)
Successfully completed MD Pathology and training across Haematology, Biochemistry, Serology, Cytology & Histopathology departments.
Consultant Pathologist
Reported and trained Resident Pathologists across Haematology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Serology, Cytology and Histopathology. Also completed NABL's IA & QMS course (ISO 15189:2012) — qualifying to conduct internal audits for laboratory accreditation.

Worked closely with Dr. A. Velumani, gaining deep insight into the diagnostics industry while sharpening skills as a Pathologist across multiple domains.
